Quilt top

Here it is my very first official quilt top! I have made a couple in the past, but not the correct way I guess?!? Anyways, I pretty much love it, it turned out pretty cute I think. It is for my 21 month old, so she's not too picky yet...she probably won't really use it either until she's in her "big girl" bed. The next step is making a quilt sandwich with the batting and the backing. After that (I'm a bit behind) is the machine quilting, I'm a little scared of this step, wish me luck! I joined an online quilting bee too and I think it's going to be lots of fun, I'm pretty excited! Yes, my husband calls me grandma (partly because I love sweaters, I know I don't get it either) but he knows that I've always loved doing creative stuff so he knows what he got into when he married me! He makes me laugh all the time, and at least I can laugh at myself!

Very cute and pretty. You will have to teach me. I love that you are creative. We should start a craft club this summer when I get back because I wish I knew how to do more.

Oh my gosh!! Seriously Nora?! I love it!!! Actually it would go perfectly in my girls' room, haha. If you want to do it again, I welcome a quilt by you with open arms!! I don't think I would have the patience. You are so talented!! Dang girl!

That last comment was totally not Geoff, but me, Danielle. Hahaha! I totally didn't know he was still signed in. That seems so weird when I read that like it was him. Okay, I am done now.

So cute! My ward just started a quilting enrichment group and last night we picked our pattern and fabric. I'm super excited. Hopefully it turns out as cute as yours!
